CHURCH PARTNERSHIPS
Churches are looking to D-Group as a source for engaging their people in discipleship.
D-Group offers 12-week sessions (4x annually) where we deep-dive a book of the Bible. Each 12-week study is split into 2-part sessions to allow new D-Group members to join (8 sessions total). In our weekly meetings, we practice other spiritual disciplines as well: Scripture memory, prayer, confession of sin, service, and application of what we've studied. Leaders go through our training portal, and we maintain connections with your church staff regularly for feedback. Our “plug-and-play” discipleship program works well with churches who long for a deeper approach to groups. We offer Men’s D-Groups, Women’s D-Groups, and Married D-Groups (through church partnerships).
If you're a D-Group member who is interested in connecting your local church with D-Group:
We encourage you to connect with a staff member at your church to gauge interest, then connect them to us, fill out the Church Partner Suggestion Form or refer them to this page (whichever they prefer).
If you're a church staff member who is interested in learning more about D-Group:
We'd love to talk to you about offering D-Group as one of your home group options! Here is a list of our upcoming studies. Feel free to contact us with any questions. In the meantime, we hope the linked documents below will provide you with some helpful info.
If you’re a couple interested in a Co-Ed Married D-Group:
We would love to help you launch this in conjunction with your church! These groups are exclusively offered under the umbrella and shepherding of an official D-Group Church Partner. [A Co-Ed Married D-Group consists of a husband and wife who co-lead a group of husbands and wives. Single, engaged, widowed, and divorced individuals can join a Men’s or Women’s D-Group (as should a married individual whose spouse is not joining them for a couples D-Group). Email Jane for more information about this option.]
“D-Group has been a blessing for our church. We were already part of The Bible Recap and the Lord led us to form D-Groups for a deeper weekly study to focus on specific books of the Bible. It has enriched our discipleship ministry and enabled men and women in their respective groups to form strong, lasting friendships.”
Associate Pastor John Johnson, Parkwood Baptist Church (Corcord, NC)

“I love the impact that D-Group is having on the women of our church. The uniqueness of the D-Group experience intentionally fills minds with truth, hearts with love and empowers hands to serve. The relationships built are lifegiving, the habits formed are transformational, and the teaching content deepens the most important relationship we can have - our one with Jesus”.
- Pastor Andy Searles, Church Together (Casselberry, FL)
Frequently Asked Questions
-
All D-Groups are simultaneously studying the same content, and we invest our resources into supporting our D-Groups with excellence and timeliness. For this reason, we can only offer support for the current curriculum, not past studies.
-
… the New Leader Training materials?
Yes, absolutely. We simply ask that before accessing the training materials, you’d sign a confidentiality waiver (it’s not an intense document, just a formality because you’ll be seeing proprietary information that isn’t available to the general public).
… the study content?
Here are samples from our earlier studies. (Note: the delivery format of the D-Group study differs from these excerpts, but the content is the same.)
Knowing Jesus as King (study of the gospel of Matthew)
Knowing Jesus as Servant (study of the gospel of Mark)
… the weekly videos?
Here is a sampling of the videos that D-Groups watch during their weekly meetings. Women’s D-Groups see videos featuring one of our female team members, while Men’s D-Groups see videos featuring one of our male team members.

We’d love to discuss both options with you to see which would be more beneficial for your church!
-
A. By partnering with D-Group, the church will have greater spiritual oversight into what their church members are learning and doing in D-Group, which hopefully helps them to shepherd their people more effectively.
B. By offering D-Group as one of your home group / community group options, your members are more likely to hear about D-Group and get involved.
C. Many times, relocating D-Group members or potential new D-Group members are seeking out connection with both D-Group and a local church. When your church is listed as one of our Church Partners on our website, it's a win-win to have individuals with a heart for disciple-making to find your church AND be able to plug into D-Group!
-
The components of our weekly meeting are integral to D-Group and require the full two hours. Resources related to the study are made available on a weekly basis to correlate with the progression of the study and aren’t easily accessible earlier or later than their scheduled release. However, we do have churches that see the need to adapt this schedule, and we leave that at your discretion.
-
Practically speaking, D-Group members receive advance digital copies of the curriculum when they register, eliminating the need to purchase a published version to participate in the study. However, D-Group goes far beyond just the study curriculum it offers. The Leader training program, regular check-ins, and weekly video components help grow each D-Group and serve them optimally. Those aspects aren’t available through the books alone. Being in D-Group is a commitment to ongoing discipleship with like-minded followers of Christ who’ve similarly agreed to the expectations of D-Group membership and the values and disciplines that set D-Group apart. We see transformation take place that often doesn’t happen in an average Bible study.
-
No. (D-Group’s session fee of $25 per 6-week session is for members, and it is waived for all first time members. All returning members submit this fee during the online registration process before each new session.) While some churches have historically paid for their members to do Bible studies, we encourage churches to leave this in the hands of their members. We’ve found it increases the members’ engagement and commitment if they have to invest this small fee themselves. However, we leave the final decision to each church’s discretion. One of our church partners has opted to pay for members of their church who can’t afford this fee.
